BP Sing Along

RECRUITMENT – EMPLOYER BRANDING – MOTIVATION – BRAND REPUTATION.

BP has launched a strong recruitment campaign in Budapest, to fulfil hundreds of new positions, while at the same time they started promoting a strong role in employer brand building, to efficiently integrate a wealth of new colleagues and to provide long-term sustainability and motivation for existing colleagues, in addition to strengthen the brand reputation.

The core of the campaign was the appearance at Sziget and at SZIN Festival, and highlighting career opportunities within the company, which served recruitment goals besides employer brand building.

The aim was getting BP in the potential job seekers sight’s and effectively address them.

Festival activation concept

Conceptual aim is to create a brand activation zone that reflects on the desire to connect to one another, to create a sense of common activity and a sense of togetherness in a fun and engaging way. We had to make this approachable, easy to join in and easy to leave. We needed an activity that does not need explanation.

That’s how mass karaoke came up and BP Sing Along Karaoke was created.

Mechanism

  • Festival visitors are invited to join in at one of the 15 microphones in singing well-known hit songs together.
  • BP’s volunteer workers have the opportunity to engage with visitors and provide them with a call to action note to join BP
  • Festival visitors also have the opportunity to request songs on site
